I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS, Kishwaukee Community College with an AS, and from Elgin Community College with
an AS.
I have been practicing as a PTA for 15 years as well as a Myofascial Therapist, mainly working in long-term health care. I was introduced to John Barnes’ Myofascial Release in 2011 by another therapist who was a co-worker. She had taken John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release classes and was using the techniques she had learned on her patients. I started noticing that her patients were getting better and mine were not. I asked her what she was using to make her patients get better and she introduced me to the world of myofascial release.
I started taking John F. Barnes’ myofascial release seminars and now use the myofascial techniques on my patients at the long-term care facility and Brynwood Myofascial Therapy.
My patients are getting better with less pain and more mobility.
